Shelton, CT – April 29, 2022 – Precision Resource Inc., a leading supplier of precision metal components manufactured with fineblanking technology, in partnership with Miltera Machining Research Corp., a rapid prototyping and ultra precision manufacturer, is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to participate in the NGen Automotive Zero-Emissions Manufacturing Challenge Program. Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen) is the industry-led, non-profit organization leading Canada’s Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster. The Automotive Zero-emissions Manufacturing Challenge Program is designed to enhance the position of Canadian companies in the automotive supply chains of the future.
As technically advanced suppliers of critical components for transportation, Precision Resource and Miltera understand and support the significance of the shift from ICE to zero-emission powertrains. Through collaboration with research organizations, OEMs and Tier One companies, we aim to develop long-term partnerships to advance Canada’s position as the global leader in the transformation and mass adoption of zero-emission technology for on-road vehicle applications. With NGen’s support, Precision Resource and Miltera will jointly invest in the latest advanced manufacturing technology for prototype development and manufacturing scale up in the city of Cambridge.
